Since this donation opportunity was so well received, Suwanee Business Alliance has decided to continue collecting food items for the children of Gwinnett via the Nothing but the Truth charity. Meeting Others Where They Are!
Nothing but the Truth provides “Weekend Food Bags” for over 900 children weekly in 43 local elementary schools. Students have been identified by their school counselors as being in need of additional food for the weekend. These children participate in the Free/Reduced Lunch Program during the week but struggle over the weekends. Bags are sent home with the kids every Friday in their backpack and include easy-open/self-serve foods.
SBA will be collecting food for Nothing But the Truth until the end of the year. They are in need of the current items:
*Small individual boxes of cereal
*Individual fruit/applesauce cups
*Ramen Noodles
These items can be brought to the general meetings or dropped off at the following businesses:
